We started 2014 with a trip to Monterey, CA where we visited the aquarium and went on the 17-mile drive. The boys enjoyed the trip very much and we plan to go back someday...
In February we took the boys to Disneyland to celebrate Isaac's Birthday and we also had a party with a few friends and family.
In April we met their Papa in Las Vegas, where Andrew wanted to go to see "the pyramid," as he is much fascinated with ancient Egypt and everything related to it. Since we cannot go to Egypt (maybe one day) we decided Vegas would to it :). We had a wonderful time, and even though Isaac was fighting a cold/cough he was a happy camper through the trip.
On Easter, Grampa was still with us and we had a wonderful family time. The boys love their cousins, and they truly enjoy every moment we spend with family. As the littlest grows older he is a part of the mix and they find ways to interact in spite of the different ages/stages.
May/June marked the end of a successful school year for the boys. Isaac did well in his preschool - which he likes very much and they had a cute singing presentation; he is quite the performer with beautiful smiles and charming looks.
Andrew had a great year at Kindergarten, with being a Spelathon winner ( kids have to sound letters and spell correctly 100 words and he got 100% right). He also received a prize for "Good Manner and Positive attitude."
Then SUMMER came and brought much swimming, trips to the beach and other adventures...
And back to school, soccer and music...
Andrew is in his second year of piano and Isaac started cello. Isaac also has an Ukalele that he likes to play just for fun on and Andrew likes to play with bongos and drums. Andrew also is singing in the church and school choirs.
For Halloween, guess who were the Ninjas trick-or-treating in the neighborhood...
We celebrated Andrew's 7th birthday on Jumping Jacks ...
And the end of the year always comes so fast. Here we are on Christmas!!!!!
Cookies for Santa!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
