This time of the year goes so fast for us! I can't believe Thanksgiving is gone and Christmas is coming. WOW. Anyway, we have had a lot of special events as a family (so many I haven't had time to catch up with my postings here!): Jason's P.h.D. completed in September, Andrew's B-day in October, Jason's B-day beginning of November, a photo shoot, and finally Thanksgiving. Next step is our niece Zoe's dedication and our trip to Brazil in December.
Andrew started a new preschool, 5 days a week (just mornings) and he is truly enjoying. He actually comes home in a school bus, which is one of the highlights of the morning for him. We were a little resistant about the idea of letting him be at school for a longer period, but we decided to try and we can now see that is has been very important in his social/intelectual development. His teacher said that she never saw a child adjust so quickly and keeps saying how smart he is...:) We also have had improvements with his potty training (yay!!) but there are still many steps to complete it.
Isaac is really communicative lately. He is all smiles and definitely uses his voice to call us and interact. His personality is really flourishing: he continues to be very laid back for the most part and loves to interact with people (his eye contact is amazing); he is very patient, but when he gets really angry it takes a while to calm him down! He is not crawling yet, but he loves to go around in his walker and can do it very well. I have been wondering if he will skip crawling altogether and just start walking one of these days...
Isaac has four bottom teeth, and there are four more coming - at the same time - on top. Poor lil' guy has had some rough nights because of that! :(
Below, some of our latest pictures.
