Last 3 months

Wow, time really flies!  Since school started we have been so busy partly because we moved and packing/unpacking with two kids it's not easy. But we are really happy with our new place! It is close from where we used to live, but now we have much more space. Isaac has his own room, and Andrew has new furniture, including a big boy bed, which makes him very proud of himself! Another plus is that now we have a guest room for when Grandma and Vovo comes.

Andrew is enjoying his new school - which by the way was the main reason for the move - and is already making friends there. He surprises us with the amount of things he is learning there. For example, the other day during dinner he said "if we have an emergency, we need to dial 911." I'd say that is pretty good for a 4 year old! He loves to hear stories,  and his favorite book is his children's Bible (what else could a mom ask for?). He also loves to sing and can memorize many songs; we all enjoy when I take time to sit at the piano and play,  and the boys start to sing with me. Again, Andrew usually asks for christian songs, such as "holy poly" (the hymn Holy, Holy, Holy) and "He is alive." His favorite TV shows are The Backyardigans and Dinossaur Train (Caillou still holds his interest too).
He is a sweet boy with his little brother and to other kids as well.

Isaac continues to say new words everyday, some in English, some in Portuguese. I want him and Andrew to be bilingual as it is so easy to learn a new language in the early years. In terms of activities, Isaac loves music and in addition to being a good singer (he can already carry a tune), he loves to dance as well. It is so cute how he translates sounds into movement! He is a very smart boy and behaves very well socially; at home he usually shows more the strong side of his temperament. When he wants something and we cannot give to him (for safety reasons, for example) he can throw a good tantrum, and does not let go of his ideas easily. It is his passionate side, I usually say and with our help he needs to learn how to use it for good in the future. He really know what he wants and will fight for it.

We are truly enjoying this phase with our little guys. They bring so much joy to our lives!!!!!
