Back on a schedule

Fall has arrived, school restarted, and Jason is back teaching a full load of classes. Angelis is teaching part time and  teaching piano to a couple of students. So, we have been adjusting to our new reality. Back to the real life and it has been good with our two little ones!

Isaac has two new teeth already! The first one popped in the day he completed 6 months and the other one has appeared just this past week. The other exciting development is that he is practically sitting without support. Mommy puts some toys on the floor and he enjoys sitting and just playing there for a while. Isaac is also becoming really communicative as he uses his voice to call us when wanting attention and giggles intensely when liking something (as for example watching his brother making noises of animals, see video below). He is also babbling, a lot of ma-ma-ma, na-na-na and da-da-da.

Andrew continues to take off in his speech. He is definitely speaking in phrases more and more; he likes to narrate what he sees and tells us what is on his mind. He also surprises us with things that he heard before. For example, the other morning he told me "Good morning mommy," followed by "How you doing, babe?" (that's what Jason usually asks me when coming home) - funny boy.  He still loves music; the other day we went to an outdoor concert in a park close to home and he was jumping and clapping so enthusiastically that the main singer on stage called attention to "the boy in the green shirt jumping on the grass" (that was Andrew!). He also got the attention of many girls saying that "he is cute", as the concert's audience was made of mostly college girls. He is definitely a social butterfly!
